In this stylish adaptation of the eye-spy game, you assume the role of Special Operative X, who is tracking down a known criminal Dr Vladmir Chaosky (aka Dr. Chaos).  You must use your keen sense of sight to find the clues left behind by Dr. Chaos, as you embark on a worldwide hunt to capture the infamous criminal genius.

There are not many games that cater for the eagle-eyed computer gamers, and Interpol: The Trail of Dr Chaos does its best to offer something original in this genre.  The game works through a series of cities around the world, each with a selection of famous landmarks, where the player must find items that will help reveal the whereabouts of Dr Chaos.  Games of this genre can be lacking in playability, but the game has also thrown in a variety of minigames that help keep the lively pace of the game.  There are enough hints available to help those that find the odd item impossibly hidden away from sight, which will be a relieve for those that are frustrated by puzzle games that are more puzzling than engaging. 

The graphics of locations and items are beautifully drawn, the details are faithfully reproduced, and the layout and game controls are well-organized and easy to navigate.  Interpol also provides lot of educational information, since the locations are well researched, and there are many interesting items and artefacts for the player to discover and learn about.  For those less well-travelled, Interpol is almost like a mini round-the-world trip that takes you to all the must-see sites of the world.

For those who love Where’s Wally, spot the difference, and find the item puzzles, there is bound to be something in Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos to interest and intrigue.  Be warned though, some of the items are rather tricky to find, and will require some lateral thinking as well as a keen eye.
