Download-games-for-free editor's review: A sequel to the hugely popular Fairy Jewels, this is an action packed gem matching game where it is upon you to save the imprisoned fairies from the clutches of an evil witch. You have to basically shoot gems or colored stones to clear the location and free the little winged creatures. There are a total of 120 levels of marble shooting fun and 20 different items to use along with bonus mini-games. Apart from the general bombs, you have the choice of rockets and morphers that repaint whole rows or groups of jewels, bricks and steel blocks with the color of the gem launched. Apart from the basic game-play, collecting coins in all the levels would also be helpful as you progress along the game. You can use these coins to touch up various buildings that were destroyed by the wicked sorcerer. The sequel has 12 additional spells that you can be added to your spell book. The spells help in turning jewels and bricks into ice, burning them up, eliminating entire jewel groups. The most unique feature about this game is that there are two modes: Story and Time and each has a distinctly different game to offer. Use your magic wand to clear off levels and release fairies in the main game and earn bonus points by shooting as many magic flares as possible before time runs out in the mini-games. The graphics and sound do a good job in setting the theme of the mystical fantasy world in the game. Fairy Jewels 2 from Intenium is an addictive and overpoweringly enjoyable action puzzler. |
